Port St Lucie Seafood Festival.

March 20, 2011

Saturday was a great day at the Port St Lucie seafood festival. Starting at 12 noon the fest was almost ready to start.  We spend a few hours listening to the music and going around the crafters that were there. The food was very good if limited in the number of vendors but then this is the 1st year. We hope that next year the Fest is increased in food vendors and crafters. We suggest that the organizers  spend time checking out other local festivals. Ideas to improve could be found in looking at the Grant Seafood Fest or the Frog Festival in Fellsmere.  Also they may want to check with those running the Port Salerno Seafood Festival.

Overall we thought the 1st Fest was very good and we hope it becomes a yearly event.
