Live, interactive dinner theater is coming to the Civic Center for the first time on Wednesday, July 20, and tickets are now available for this unique murder mystery event.

The setting for the show will be aboard a train in the late 1930s, with professional actors in costume mingling with guests during cocktail hour, which begins with the opening of a cash bar at 6 p.m.

Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. as a detective announces some facts about a fictional murder. Scenes will be acted out during each course of the meal as additional details unfold, and guests will have to ask questions and sort through clues to determine the guilty party. A cash prize will go to the winner who solves the crime.

Clapping Monkey Productions wrote the script and is producing the show in partnership with the Civic Center. All the actors are experienced professionals, and live in the Treasure Coast area.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased over the phone or in person at the Civic Center. Guests are encouraged to add to the interactive fun by dressing in period clothing.

The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
